Default If they were still with us…

My wife sent me a link to an artist who is using todays technology to age the people who left us much too soon. Here is a taste of that work. The article said that the results illicit a lot of emotion.
Yeah, I get that.

I've already seen some of those. One thing that struck me about Janis Joplin was that she didn't look too different - she seemed to have something of an old woman's face even when she was young.

Interesting technology, indeed. But I'm not sure why Ringo is in there, at lower left.

Edit: This was needless wondering. See post #9.

I wonder what Keef and Willie would look like - come to think of it, never mind...

He's just showing what the Beatles would and do look like. Paul and Ringo still being amongst us, they are actual photos.

Yes, I eventually realized that that was the idea--belatedly, after my post. I didn't recognize at first that that profile pic next to John was Paul. I thought that it was a different angle of John. Couldn't understand why Ringo was there. Speculated that maybe the idea had been to show two different angles of both John and George, and somebody messed up and injected Ringo into the picture. Speculated that the reason Paul had been left out was to drop yet another clue that Paul was dead.

Oops. Need some new readers, I reckon.

I can’t get over how beautifully they aged dear Jimi. The artist used a pose that with the aging process makes him look to be the Albert Einstein of rock music in the twentieth century. Just great, except that they didn’t age his hands. Keith’s current hands would have been the perfect substitute for this fantasy photo.

I wonder how accurate this aging process for the photos are. I'd be curious if they took a picture of me as a 22-year-old and aged it and then compared it with a real photo of me as an old guy, I wonder how close it would be?

I'm going to have to follow that link and see if there are any clues.

I agree. It would be cool to see how “aged” young pictures of famous people, or ourselves, compare to the real thing. Shouldn’t be too hard.

They were being very kind in the Elvis reproduction.

I had the same thought, but then I recall how great Cary Grant ended up looking at around 80. But he took really great care of himself.
