As long as you have your towel with you, I think you'll both be ok.

I’d rather grow another head.

In which case you should probably go with the new X10 with the 25.5" scale... it is my understanding that this one is designed to make weirdly long limbs appear mostly normal. I'm not sure if there is an upcharge for the non-Lurch feature - you should probably check with Emerald.

Um... does "Lurch" translate from American > English?

Well I’m wearing my bath robe.

Funnily enough Jim, the nickname “Lurch” was already taken many years ago by my pal Geoff Bull,
who tho’ not as tall as me , was somehow even more cadaverous.

Quite so, I often automatically translate stuff into Mericun to help my many elderly friends here,
(a lot of them are often quite confused now and I try to be kind.)

Are you the Dave that used to drink in “The Ship” in Bedford ?

I also did, but I think I lived there in earlier era, lemme see, my eldest son was born there,
he’s 46 now (!!!!!) and I think we left there when he was two. You do the math(s)

I still have pals in that area, don’t see ‘em much, it’s only about 50 miles away from my current home,
but I’ve got really lazy about travelling anywhere since I’ve got older...
and as for sleepining on peoples’ couches .... nah ... last resort.

My drinking days there were in the early '80s. I moved to Bedford in 1982 to work for a computer company whose offices were within staggering distance of The Ship, so it became my local for a couple of years before I ventured across the pond in 1984. I doubt we coincided - although it's extraordinary enough to come across someone who's actually heard of the place, after all these years.

This thread has wandered so far off topic now that it doesn’t really matter if I show you two of the guys I knew in those days.
Pete and Paul still live in the Bedford area and are known to all in the pub gig circuit there.
I used to share a house with Paul (left of screen) , he was almost this good back then and I learned nothing,,, NOTHING ! What a waste.

Sorry no c.f. But some fine pickin’ I think you’lll agree.

After listening to the Bonas Brothers, I am soooo depressed. No amount of Hog #3 is going to help. Maybe I should take a hammer to my fingers and spare everyone that might hear me play. That would give me an excuse to go back to my harmonica. That would be good....I could get even with my neighbor that has the barking dogs.
