Is there anyway to access the OnSong library via a desktop PC? Windows preferably, but Mac would be fine. I just don't like not being able to access things on any device...my iPad is great but it's not the only computer I use.

Four ring binders must be a UK thing. Here in the colonies we use three ring binders. It's all good either way as long as it works for you.

I don't have an Apple devices so I don't know if they would present any specific issues, but on the devices I do have, I would store my files in the cloud. I would personally use Google Drive (it's free).
I can access and download the files on all my devices. One could even allow band mates to access the files on a controlled basis.

I use a song list, showing me the title of the song, and the key/capo position and maybe a little note specific to the song, and then after that I will have a few full lyric sheets for songs I have not entirely memorized, if I need them.
They are all originated on MS Word as a table (on an Apple Mac) and then I open them with Apple's Pages program, which will open a word document. I then put them on icloud, and open them on the ipad, where I use the Pages program while using the set list. I don't use chord charts or lyrics with chords, I have all that in my mighty brain. Pages is free, included with the Apple OS and is a fine word processing program.
