Taylor Custom Shop Map Pricing
Hi, I have a worksheet which states MAP prices. How much off can I reasonably expect off once all the options are picked?
For instance, if MAP is 8K, what would actual selling price be to me from the retailer? Thanks, Dan |

I'd pose the question to Ted @ LA Guitar Sales https://www.laguitarsales.com....

I have pondered a custom Taylor order but found something close enough from used stock. Ditto on asking Ted in LA to see what he could do. Given the circumstances of closed factories, limited return to production, and empty supply pipelines, don't expect either big discounts or quick delivery. But it never hurts to ask.....

Unfortunately, I am in Canada and Taylor wont sell to Canada. I was hoping some here had personal experience on what the actual selling price ended up.

But, as somebody else suggested, I would contact Ted at LA Guitars and see what he quotes you. |

The dealer would be shipping the guitar, not Taylor. Talk to Ted...

The dealer agreement (required to be an authorized dealer) may prohibit Ted or any other dealer from shipping a new guitar with warranty across the border to our Canadian cousins. That would apply to custom BTO as well. You may be stuck with retailers like Long & McQuade or private sales of used guitars. If the border ever opens up again, you could drive to Minnesota or Wisconsin and purchase directly.
