Default First time share , my original song

Figured since I've been here for a while now I'd share a song. This is an original acoustic diddy in the Ben Harper vein if you like that kind of thing:

I can't access the SoundCloud link directly. However, you can describe your song or share specific details about it here, such as lyrics, themes, or inspirations. I'd love to hear more about your creative process and what makes your music unique!

Oh darn, you canít listen to the song? I believe the settings are correct for sharing the link, giving access to anyone with the link, but I could be wrong.

The song is called ďMan Once,Ē about my friend who was separating from his wife last year, also at the same time Iíve struggled with substance abuse, and I think the two subjects were intertwining in those lyrics.

My creative process has come down to a simple technique of writing lyrics when I feel inspired, alongside simple music that just sort of pops up when Iím noodling.

Iíve been doing it for a while and feel like finally Iíve gotten to where Iím relatively happy with my results, using a Blue Snowball USB mic into my iPad. (I also sometimes use a Shure 58 XLR mic into a Tascam multi track recorder.

It was a good song, and you have a nice voice, I think. I did notice that it was set to private, which might have something to do with people not being able to play the track. I am not really sure, though, as I am kind of a dunce when it comes to tech stuff.

Thatís a good song, Lucas, and nicely delivered!

SoundCloud says it is private. Maybe I can listen because I have a SoundCloud account?

Good job
