Default Collings 01 Owners... What Strings Do You Prefer?

I recently got a Collings 01A-VN-SB. I've tried D'Addario nickel bronze and phosphor bronze strings. Still working my way through some different options, but wondering what you all are enjoying on an 01? Thanks.

I would be interested as well. I haven’t changed my strings (factory EJ-16s) but I think I would like something with a little more of a mellow vibe. She’s next up for a string change so I’ll be following

PS did you buy that one here in the forums?

Here’s my 2022 01T SB.

I put EJ-16s back on most recently. But, no, picked it up at CME. Yours is a nice burst!

Pearse phosphor bronze, or D’Addario XT. Good luck!

I just put Santa Cruz low tensions on my Collings Parlor and I love them. Hard to describe why they feel so much better - but they just do.
