Default Acoustic Amp on the Cheap

I've been using an old Crate BX15 practice amp for playing at home for a while and I really like it. It's easy to find and usually can be found for the 40-50 US range. For some reason the low end is pretty weak and at 15 watts not so useful gigging except as a excellent powered monitor.

Then, I came across this speaker on Ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262085944489?

The thing that caught my attention (after the price) was the "sensitivity" rating was 96db at 1 watt at 1 meter. That means pretty LOUD at minimal power. Being a woofer, should help the bottom end too.

It screws into the opening of the little combo OK even though the factory opening is too small to accept the rim into the recess.

It makes the little amp a great acoustic amp, now and the tone is much bigger(and LOUDER) and very natural. A little heavier at a hefty 23 lbs.

Don't mind gigging with it now...

I think I paid 45 for the amp a few years ago and the speaker was 30 shipped. So about $75US total.

That's a good price for a powerful little amp.

Yes I'm very happy with it, hoping it will tie me over for a while until I can save up for a Roland 33maybe, I'm not sure what exactly.
