I’d have to say the JJB’s I put in my D18 are pretty dang good.
I would call them “K & K Lights”. They have lower output and have a more natural bass response than the K & K’s. They also tend to be more balanced and most importantly, they don’t feed back as easily.
The D18 has become my gigging guitar because of them.
Highly recommended.
