Default Mayes Guitar

I've owned many guitars and many brands over the years. I've always wanted to try a Mayes. Figured I would just see if anyone has one.

There’s a name I haven’t heard in a while. I wonder how John is doing these days. He sure knew how to build fine sounding guitars! Good Luck in the Hunt.

Man, I hope you find one. I've had five or so over the years, including one of John's very last Eureka series (spruce over brazilian) that found its way back to him (!). Each has been unique and spectacular, and my present L-32 (thanks, Wade!) is probably the best-sounding guitar I've played or owned. It's just got that extra "something" that everyone who plays or hears it notices as special.

They don't come up very often, but it's worth being patient to find one. Happy guitar hunting!
