I purchased this guitar in 2014 after touring the Martin factory in Nazareth, PA, and being blown away by the quality of their instruments. I do not play guitar, but I purchased it because I appreciate fine things and had always wanted to own a Martin. I would now like to share this beautiful guitar with someone who can enjoy playing it. Guitar retails for $8,499 Asking $6,800 - Near mint condition, played for no more than 1 hour cumulatively. - Martin case and paperwork included. - This guitar has Natural Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, which is to note as Martin is not able to get this wood anymore. - Absolutely no binding de-lamination - 100% clean bill of health, as guitar was just fully inspected on 11/16/23 by local Martin Guitar Technician. Everyone - Vouching for seller and guitar. I have known Lou since the 80s and he is one of the finest gentlemen you will ever meet. He was even my church youth group leader. He brought this guitar by the house one day and we compared it to the wonderful D-41 I owned at the time. I sold mine not long after as it paled in comparison to Lou's.
If you are looking for a 1941 Authentic to add to the collection, this is absolutely the one.
