Default Rainsong Parlor Eye Candy

Thought I would share this little beauty with you guys. It's the deluxe all Carbon Fiber version with full inlays.

I like it, but I would love it if the Brown was closer to Black.

It is sweet looking!

I like it Ted. I don't recall seeing much pics of Rainsongs with Bursts ... I take it that it's a rarity?

The burst finish is new from Rainsong, adds $100 list to the gloss models. Below is a CO-DR1100N2 Dreadnought in Tobacco Burst.

I think it's absolutely stunning. Want...need ....drool....
How much for a parlor like that?
The fancy inlay isn't a must for me.

Vance you want a old Gibson Burst which the old CA had that down pretty well. Modern bursts are all over the place. I totally agree with you but I applaud Rainsong for stepping out here. They aren't the old Rainsong any more.

I tried to purchase one of those Sunburst CA's and missed out on it.

I would really like to see a nice old style sunburst with the carbon weave showing throughout the colors and transitions.(High Gloss of course)That would be quite a looker.

A transparent vintage burst could be very cool. Course it would need to be in addition to this burst not instead of because the feedback on this new color has been quite positive.

It really is a more modern burst, see it in wood guitars here on the forum.

I consider Emerald's transparent vintage amber exposed weave top with black b/s as a form of modern burst (like my 6/12 doubleneck). The amber weave is a bit subdued compared to common bursts, but shows-up nicely in certain angles/lights. Emerald takes the amber close to the edge so not much gloss black shows. I suppose a wider black border would make it more of a burst finish, but it's already nice the way Emerald is doing it.
