Default Guitar Kit

Has anyone built one of these or something similar?

Default A thought

Anybody's who built a guitar has built 'something similar'. There's no information that respondents could use to guide their comments.

I’ve been looking at the ES335 kits lately. Let us know if you pursue a kit. I’d watch with interest!

There are some cheap kits (US$100) with the body and neck already made but raw finish and not attached.

You also need to glue the bridge to the body.
These are a good starter kit to check out your finishing skills.
I've made 4 and donated all of them.

I upgrade the tuners (they supply nasty ones!) and make bone nuts and saddles and use bone pins (they supply plastic)

Here's one with double cutaway's currently on eBay; https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-000-...4383.l4275.c10

No tools.
I used a tie-down strap with a rachet to hold the neck to body when gluing together and I made my own bridge clamp - don't laugh, it worked perfectly!

There is some Australian company I believe that sells all the tools with the kit. The name escapes me.
