Help: Sides warp after bending and in mold

My sides warped after being bent and placed in the mold. They basically rippled at a few areas. Any help to fix or is this a wastebasket set. It is cocobolonand was bent then left in mold overnight prior to putting in desktop mold. It is too much to scrape or sand flat. They were at .8 prior to bending. I put the neck and tail block in prior to seeing this issue.

Can I heat up again and remold without taking it all apart? Thanks. JR

What do you mean that, "they were at .8"?

I'm guessing the sides were quite wet and if so, that's what the cause of the rippling is. I don't have any experience to know whether your sides can now be flattened.

Perhaps some rigid side braces can be used to pull the sides into enough flatness that they can be scraped/sanded to flat enough to finish. I did that on two sets of a lovely tropical hardwood (Boire) that was a torture to bend and flatten. Sure looked nice when I got done, but I wouldn't want to repeat the exercise.

I've read comments to the effect that a clothes iron be used to flatten cupped sides, too, but I've neither used nor tested the technique
