Thanks everyone. You know, I wonder what folks in other countries think when they see wood like that? I mean, I'm always drooling over what grows on other continents and in other countries. But this shows that we, here, have somewhat to offer. Glad you guys like it. And it is a dream to work!

Steve

Well we just sold the sweet little Black and White Ebony Parlor that we took to Santa Barbara, but before we shipped it out, we recorded some tunes. I thought some of you may be interested in how it sounded. Like always, this is a simple mic and one takes - so be merciful to Steve.

Hope you enjoy!

So glad you sold that before posting the sound clips..... That (to me) really has the "Kinnaird" sound that grabs me. Fabulous.

Living in Oregon, I've always had a soft spot for Myrtle. To me, it has similar properties as walnut. It's a perfect, all around, do-a-little-of-everything tonewood. I'm sorely tempted by this one, but don't know how the wife would feel about selling the house .....

Thanks for the kind words, all. It is amazing how much fun these smaller guitars are to play.

Wow Steve, you must not have smashed your fingers with any tools lately, those were all one takes....you were on a roll....when is the concert series starting? You don't need to hire anyone at Memphis to demo anything, just do it yourself!

That little parlor packs a punch to be sure!!!

Sounds great, Steve! Glad this little beauty has found a good home.

The myrtle guitar is looking fantastic as well. I wasn't familiar with it as a tonewood until I purchased mine. I love the tone it produces--to my ear more towards rosewood than mahogany, but very well rounded. Thanks for sharing it!
