Imagine a guitar of the month club
I was just day dreaming and thinking of a perfect world where you would join a "Guitar of the Month" club. There would be a graduated fee structure where the more you pay per year (or have on deposit, I haven't figured out the financials yet, lol) the better guitar rotation you would be in.
So each month you would get a different guitar and ship the old one back (or they would pick up and deliver) You could qualify, by funding level, to be in monthly rotations of guitars that retail in the following ranges (for example only) $500 - 750 rotation $750 - $1,250 rotation $1,250 to $1,800 rotation etc, etc. Or maybe instead of shipping you have to pickup/deliver to the club's location. It might actually be a cure for GAS!

How would giving back each guitar each month cure GAS?

I think there are lots of AGF members who feel they are in such a club, already, given they are always buying (and, sometimes, selling) guitars.

It's a fun idea. 30 days is enough time to get to know an instrument.
Of course shipping cost for guitars isn't all that cheap. The idea would seem to have the most merit for folks interested in higher end instruments, many of which aren't usually readily available to play for an afternoon (let alone a month).

Ummmm...I’ve been known to occasionally turn them over pretty quickly. But monthly? Nope.

I don’t have gas but like the idea and would probably try it. Would be nice to have option of stopping and keeping one along the way that spoke to you

I like it....can you include us down here in Australia? Good place for someone to hand carry guitars to during the US Winter

How about this. A bunch of people buy into a guitar club for $100 a year. Just a starting brainstorming seed thought. The group buys guitars and the club members take them out on loan. Kind of like a library of guitars.
Reminds me of when "Prewar" guitars sent an example of their work around to a bunch of vintage Martin dreadnought geeks to try out. I don't think the guitar ever made it to the last guy on the list because somebody bought it. Great idea though. It put "Prewar" guitars solidly on the map.
