Perhaps you have Carbonfiberguitarphlebitis.
Or perhaps, Carbonfibroguitarmyalgia.
or neurofibroaddictiveguitarcarbonus.

You exhibit many of the symptoms.
Maybe he be a CFie.

You people are not helping in the slightest.

Think I'll have another beer.

Thanks for playing along, folks. I see plenty of posts today... my work here is done.

The nylon strings arrived. Now, I am thinking I may try them on the X7 instead of one of the wood guitars. Sorry, I didn't mean to keep this CF on-topic in this thread.

CFie... yeah. Carbonista... I think I like that better. Sounds like I should get some skinny jeans and a man purse.

JBK,this is an open forum! Discrimination against weirdos and perverts is prohibited.
If you can't accept this, a bottle of Hogs Bourbon will help.

Which nylon strings did you get for the test Jim (or anyone else)? My X7 don't get much play, so this sounds like a great idea to try. Thanks

After he saw that offensive picture on this forum, he has not been the same. I think he is depressed. Now I have to keep a handkerchief over his sound hole, just in case another offending picture is posted. He is still howling but I am starting to like it.

Hi John,

Sorry I missed this earlier. I bought the D'Addario Folk strings - I haven't found the time to put them on, yet... being retired keeps me very busy. Today, Joan said, "You have't played for me since forever..." It had been a couple days, which may seem like forever, since I do play most days. The perfect weather has been keeping me playing on the boat and the scoots.

I will get those strings on and report back... one of these days.

Thanks Jim, I understand, got several outdoor projects going myself that is cutting into my playing time. Unfortunately none involve a boat. The heat is increasing, so time for working on those is limited. Have some fun...love that Vespa.
