I tend to agree with you on that Howard. It looks more like a stained fiddle back tiger maple than a bees wing mahogany. It was marketed as bees wing but I always thought of it more as curly. Regardless, I like the look and tone of this guitar. I think you played it at Woodstock two years ago maybe? Or maybe the '31 OM-18 had you in its grasp at that point?

I played as many of your guitars as I could--it was a rare treat. The OM-18 did make a lasting impression!
