For 40 years up until I joined this forum about a year ago I’ve typically only had one electric guitar. As of late next week it will be... six. Yes, I have a problem and I blame all of you.

I'm down to three now.
2 Martin 00 bodies one with a pick up, and a Taylor GS Mini. All I require really. My maximum number was 5. Gabe |

8 - 3 nylon (classical,) 4 6-string steel, and a 12-string. I would let one nylon and one steel go if needed to.

How many guitars do you own?
Wow! That’s 80 guitars! I think you are the record holder who owns the most guitars!

If a person had 80 guitars and played a different one each day of the year in rotation, they would only play each of their guitars 4 or 5 times per year.

Two and a resonator. However I'm looking at a used Taylor 614e and a Gibson SJ200 on sale. I have a Martin Hd28 and a Gibson Southern Jumbo so a good Maple would complete things.

18. My first clue that this is too many was that I had to make a list and count them. These are mostly cheap guitars, although I have a couple USA premium guitars. Oddly enough, I don't play them much, and my current daily go-to is the cheapest guitar I own, an Epiphone AJ220s. It just really fits me, and I really like it.

Define "own"
I have four guitars. I find if I have three I seem to be missing something. If I have five I seem to have too many so I always land at four. But.....I have my two first guitars in permanent storage for sentimentality only. So, technically I "own" six but I can unload those at any time (in fact one is for sale currently)
