When I travel I don't take a computer. My email is always over loaded when I get home. Hopefully something similar for you. Good luck in your resolution to the situation.

Are you sure reverb has released the funds? Every time I've sold something on reverb, they do not release the funds to me until I add the tracking number to the transaction. IIRC, when I was a reverb newbie, they didn't release the funds until the buyer actually received the guitar.

You can chat with a reverb rep in real time during business hours.... Check out what they say!

He didn’t pay through Reverb. He paid through PayPal.

This sucks, but it looks like paypal can make you whole. Take it as a learning experience and a chance to be more vigilant in the future.

I don't buy the whole "great about contact," until payment, then some emergency once they got paid. People use their time how they want. It only takes a minute to send an email. Once he got your money, you may not have been a priority.

I've had slow shippers in the past, but not with zero contact. Hopefully he already shipped it and all is well, or you get your money back if he didn't.

You can give him bad feedback, but he may be able to make a new profile to get around that. Maybe that's what he did before he dealt with you and why he looked "new" to Reverb.

I'd assume Reverb would catch on to that kind of thing pretty quickly though.

Ok, I'm out of ideas.

Yes. Sounded fine and was very responsive before I paid. Just shows you never know. After payment he disappeared. Now I probably have to wait over a month until I get my money back from Paypal.

Agree. How long does it take to send a message about shipping your item? 30 seconds?

Found out from a Reverb rep its safer to buy from sellers that accept credit card payments through reverb. This is because the funds are frozen until it ships and then you have secondary protection from your credit card. Paypal is OK but the process takes so long and the funds immediately go into the sellers account.

There are several that pop up in some form of that name - might want to provide the link or at least tell us where he is located. The one that is an exact match is in Milan, Italy. I'm guessing you wouldn't have paid for shipping of a PA system from there. He also has no listings at this time, and one feedback rating.

I had a friend message him. Lets see if he responds. I don't want too many people messaging him all of a sudden. That would look suspicious.

Inform Reverb that this is the same guy, and they should shut him down.

I did. Reverb is so non-willing to get involved.
They just keep telling me to file a dispute with paypal.
