Default Wilkinson WVP6SB

I'm looking for this Wilkinson Trem bridge for my new Strat project. I've seen it available in chrome but I'm specifically looking for gold finish. This is a bridge that fits the vintage 6-screw mounting layout, but with beveled & elongated mounting holes, steel trem block and solid SS Saddles.

I found one in Canada, and many others overseas but would prefer to order within USA for obvious reasons. This one is different from the VSVG that appears to be widely available, in that it has solid saddles like a USA Deluxe.

This is preliminary to a NGD post, for which I will put up pix at some point.

Here's a vintage spec'd gold Wilkinson. Are you looking for this, or something like this? I think they're the same unit and both in the US.

Drew, it is similar, but it has solid saddles rather than the vintage-style 'bent-steel' ones and it has a thicker, radiused plate.

Like this one, only in gold...

Strange that you can find a gold one in Canada but not in the US. Perhaps an email to Wilkinson.

I thought so too. They seem readily available from China, Hong Kong, Great Britain. Not too keen on the idea that this would actually have to come from overseas...dog only knows how long it would take to arrive or what my recourse might be if things went sideways.

I finally got fed up with grinding on this and ordered the one from Canada...about $20.00 more in price, but worth the relative peace of mind.
