That is a neat idea! Riders in the Sky did something similar (without the audience involvement) at the Opry this past Tuesday night. They claimed that every holiday song is really just a variation on Let it Snow, and then played them that way. Pretty funny to hear them quote the melodies and one line of the lyrics to lots of songs in fast succession!

What Jamie said. We were well received and I'm still hearing rave reviews from my fellow church members. Especially Jamie's interpretation of JCM's "I saw Mommie kissing Santa Claus"!

Two seven song sets at church for Christmas Eve. Its the first year in my last four years of playing in this band that I've been slotted to play lead guitar. Kinda nervous, kinda scared, kinda practicing like crazy...
