Default Bose S-1 into L1 question

I’m going to be trying that setup at a larger venue soon. Hook up through a Qsc mixer. For those that have done this any advice to hookup up and particularly stage placement would be appreciated. Yes, I know how to hook it all up, I’m just looking for real world experience...
-thanks

I use an S1 with a direct line to my L1c. To my ear, it seems the S1 fills in some mids. I use the S1 near me, on the floor, run to the L1c (behind and to the side).

Though I haven't run the S1 into another Bose system (I use an Alto Trouper on a pole) my experience with the sound and placement agrees with Jim above.
