Default Modern Bossa Nova legend expires

This became the basis of “world beat” to all walks of life.
Rest well, my friend. You did mankind a favor they could never repay.

The first album Joao did with Stan Getz is on my turntable right now. I bought it when I was in high school and soon after bought a nylon string guitar.

I love the 60's Bossa Nova stuff (Desifinado, Girl from Ipanema etc.) and bought the album back then, but be forewarned, the chords are not for the "faint of heart" which pretty much eliminates me! I got drafted into the Army (I'm a trained killer and not one VC made it passed Akron, Ohio while I was fighting the war about then) and went down to a small club in Georgetown, Md. to hear Stan Getz play.
