These are just facts coffee fan- they are not my opinion. I'm speaking of events that have transpired here.

What a sign of the times to get so....

Do you think these are GOOD events that should be defended? Why?

I don't believe they target breeds but, rather, individual animals, which is how it should be.

Targeting an entire breed is senseless and short-sighted.

No, but I also don't think it warrants the complete condemnation of an entire breed, as it seems you're determined to do.

Many of your comments in this thread have been devoid of facts and heavy on opinion, and I understand that. But you need to acknowledge that they're your opinions.

People here seem to be coming undone at the thought of a dog attacking a cat. Well, here's a news flash: That's what dogs do. Dogs go after cats, cats go after mice, etc. It's nothing specific to pit bulls. I grew up with Great Danes and they always chased cats. I had a St. Bernard years later and she chased and killed a cat that had gotten into our yard.

It's not something pit bulls do, it's something dogs do.

We're starting to drift into contentious territory now, and so I am closing the thread.

Once again, we are sorry for the loss of your cat and hope that after healing, there will be many more animal companions to comfort you.

Rick
