I realized I'd been using the pickup w/o the shield on the end pin jack so I've installed the shield (covers the wire connections on the end pin jack).

I have two of them - this is the best magnetic pickup available, IMO, and I include the Black Angel in that. Mixes great with a UST or SBT to gin up a full-spectrum signal.
