Good call to wait a day.
Most of the time I am glad I did. Any further consideration evaporates.

It's not a current model. These are pics from Reverb of the same model from Reverb;

The Reverb add says it's a 2017 model.

I've done this before with small guitars, most recently with a Lowden S23, the model that the Sheeran S is based on. I loved that one the first time I tried it, only to wonder what I heard in it when I went back.

So we will see, maybe today, probably tomorrow. I'm going to use the fact that I've never bought a guitar from the SA to try and convince them to give me a deal.

The one in that picture^ looks like the 12-fret version. Regardless I think the 712 is a great guitar but I am slightly biased as I have one myself [emoji5]

Ah, false alarm. I went back today and it didn't excite me any more. In fact it sounded a lot like the Gibson L00 that was cheaper and that didn't do anything for me on Saturday.

I had played the crap out of my CS OM-18 and my GPCRSG since I tried that Taylor and they really showed their tone.

I didn't even talk price at the store. This was one of those times when ''You've got to know when to fold em''!

Sounds like you knew when to walk and when to run...

I've had that happen to me many times. Sometimes my own guitars sound off too. I think its more us than the guitars.
