Default Help!!

The pick guard was pulled off with heat....and ripped the wood

How do you fix this?

1. Rethink your reason for removing it.

2. Glue it back on without disturbing the wood that was removed.

The usual repair is to reglue the wood pieces back in place using flat clamping blocks on top and underneath to make sure things come out level. Waxed paper keeps the blocks from getting stuck in the glue.

Then, apply a new pickguard to cover the damage.
