Telecaster or Les Paul Jr. double cutaway, with a 335 coming up close behind. Those have always been my favorite electric guitars since I was a kid.

I had a Fender Tele Deluxe. Tele body, 70's style Strat headstock. Two humbuckers. A fun and different git. Then, I grew up.[emoji6]

Man. Lot's of Tele love out there.
I have a mid 90s Guild StarFire IV humbuckers and a rather new off shore Guild Newark St X175 hollow body with P90 style pickups. I think I find the P90s a bit more versatile, right now. I haven't learned to make the buckers " cry and sing ", just yet.

I have a weakness for electrics that almost approaches my weakness for acoustics.
Favorites: telecaster and stratocaster and every Collings electric I've played! Love the Collings Statesman. |

As long as it's fully hollow, I'll probably dig it. Casino, ES125, Sorrento, 5th Avenue, all that good stuff. And flatwounds!

I just picked up another Tele earlier this year, a Fender American professional. I searched around for a few weeks, testing a bunch before I found the one. It gives me tonal bliss. It plays like a dream too. 138534%20(1).jpeg |

Any electric will do, as long as it’s a Tele.

Accusations of subtlety on my part when it comes to electrics are unfounded.
I love tele's but I play a Gretsch White Falcon which feels right after so many years on acoustic. All the best MDW

Love my acoustics, but have several electrics as well. My Collings City Limits Deluxe is a current favourite.

My favorite is my Gibson ES-335 DOT reissue, given to me by my lovely wife for Christmas eleven years ago.
(a nice brooding shot) It is probably the most flexible guitar in the arsenal for the sessions I play. It can do almost anything the Les Paul can do and a lot of stuff the Telecaster can do. It has jumbo frets that make it soooooo comfortable. Still and all, each guitar has its strength. Bob

I vacillate between my Gibson SG Standard in heritage cherry and my Am Std Strat with a thin charcoal frost finish. Different tones for different moods. I don't think i can pick a favorite.

My ”GO TO” electric has always been my
1971 Sunburst Les Paul Deluxe. Bought it used in 1976 for $225 before any of my children were born, Mercy I’m an old fart. Depending on what/who I’m playing with Also use 1990 American Strat, (Looks like the one on the back of the Layla album), Occasionally bring the 2004 PRS Mcarty Hollow body II out for special occasions, really just to show it off, it’s flat out beautiful. Stevied, lots of pretty guitars here, but for me, that one takes the prize. Wow... that's gorgeous!

I've got a bunch of electrics. It'd be very difficult to pick a favorite, but at tonights country gig, I'll play my Warmoth partscaster tele, my Fender 65' "thinskin" jazzmaster RI and the Taylor 322ce 12 fret on a couple of tunes.
