Default Wireless for a Taylor

Just copying this over from the Electric Guitar subsection.

Anyone used one of these inexpensive wireless systems with a Taylor with ES1.3?

I may order one just to try out, if it doesn't work well, I can return it n/c by bringing it back to Kohl's.

With a ES1.3 Taylor? There really doesn't seem to be any difference in the specs for the two models.

No, sorry, I use Fishman's mostly, but it does work just fine with my Taylor Nylon, (ESN system)

the biggest difference I concluded in the two is the one I linked has LEDs to give you some idea of Battery life remaining.

Received the Getaria yesterday. Charged up quickly (must have been partially charged already), paired in seconds. I plugged it into my audio interface just to try it, worked well as far as I could tell, went about 30 feet away with a wall in the way with no issue. Will try it tomorrow night at my open mic - for myself, not for others - they can stay 'wired'.

Ran my first open mic with the wireless plugged into my guitar (used cables for others).
I definitely like the ability to walk around and not worry about tripping on a cable, have to get used to being able to do so. It's a small place, so not really necessary. At one point a friend was doing a song with his wife singing and I grabbed my guitar, pushed the mixer slider volume up, and played some lead licks from out in the 'audience' area, that was a nice ability.
For $40, a good investment. I definitely like the rechargeable battery feature - I remember having to change 9v batteries regularly in my Shure IEM system.
