Default 12 fret grand concert.

Looking for a 12 fret cutaway, used condition and short scale under $1600.
Taylor seems to have a better selection of these. 512 ce, 612 ce etc. Any suggestions out there for an easy playing guitar?

A quick search on Reverb just yielded a used 812ce 12-fret stateside for well under that. Tiny bit of top damage, but I bet it plays and sounds great. My 712e is a definite keeper.

I have an all mahogany 12-fret GC that I Love. Mellow, resonant, woody, easy to play. You won't go wrong with one of these, and your used price target is OK (if there's some minor issue), but a little low for a mint condition one.

Not quite to your spec, but I recently acquired a Gibson parlor AG (RW/Sitka) that is also quite nice, and used was lower than your target.
Good luck with your hunt.

There's a Larrivee OOV-03 on Reverb currently. Ticks off all your boxes. Do a search on "Larrivee OO-03V"

Mine is louder than any Taylor 12 fret I've owned with a lot more low end growl. This is a custom order that LA Guitars initiated. The cutaway is rare for a Larrivee OO and the shortscale even rarer.

I'm very fond of mine!

I have a Taylor 12-Fret from 2010, which is a very nice guitar. I found this on Reverb, at $2250, a little more than you were hoping for.

Many thanks for the responses. I demoed the Ag and although it is small and comfortable, its still a 14 fret. The sound is ok but a little woody and not much sustain. The 812 ce 12 fret is much more to my liking. I did get a chance to play both the Taylor 12 frets the 322 ce was a sweetheart of a guitar with a low end growl and nice trebles (chimes).

Still need to find a Larrivee 00. Last time I played a 00 it was a great sounding guitar

Iíll keep up the search. Thanks again.

Seems Taylor leads the way in 12 fret cutaways, at least here on the west coast. I'll keep looking for that "one".

I'd include the 322ce 12-fret model in your search. Pretty good selection of those on Reverb. If you can be patient you might find a 522ce in your range, but that's a stretch. (I played a new V-class version of the 522ce back in July and thought it was a really nice guitar.)

If you hurry, you can get a carbon fiber RainSong Concert Hybrid OM brand new for under $1600. Specs are very close to a Taylor GC, and they come standard with a 12-fret neck.

Maybe you're not interested in carbon fiber, but I have effectively the same guitar (with a little more bling), and I absolutely love mine. If you are at all interested, head over to the Carbon Fiber forum where you'll find lots of information and discussion.

But you would need to hurry, because prices are going up (considerably) soon.

Iíve heard good things about the Eastman E10 OO and E20 OO. You can get new ones for that price or less. I have a very slightly used 2019 E20 OO being shipped to me right now. Bought it off reverb from private owner for less than $1000.00. Not sure if they are large enough to qualify as grand concert.
