Default "Message in a Bottle" (The Police) fingerstyle tryout

Hi folks,

here is my TRYOUT to arrange a fingerstyle version of "Message in a Bottle".
I'm not sure about my simple version - so i'm happy about every kind of feedback.

That was excellent. Not only easy listening but super smooth and enjoyable listening. Thanks for sharing, really enjoy it.

And I think it has all it needs, the song needs a bit of space and atmosphere so i thought this arrangement captured the mood of teh track ideally.

Played on a J-45 ?

Really very nice indeed, lovely clean playing on the melody and nice and spare/spacious - great job. I might add a little more reverb if it was me, just to add to the space ;-)

Dear GibbyPrague,

first i have to thank you for your wonderful feedback!
Makes me glad and proud that somebody likes my simple tunes :-)

I play a Walden 350' - a cheap but wonderful guitar.

Greetz & all the best,

Jimmy

Hi Jimmy. This song brings back good memories. I think that this was the first legitimate hit song by the Police, and it was all about speed and joy and playfulness. Something new at the time. Your version slows it down and brings out some nuance - I love it! Great job here
