Default Gibson L00 wood quality

Hello,

I recently bought a new L00 and I love this little thing. Sounds awesome and the playability is great! So much is the love, that it sparked an interest into understanding a bit more about the building process of making an acoustic guitar.

So yesterday I was looking into the interior of the guitar and noticed something: Thin "cracks" in the back wood of the guitar (only visible from the interior, and also a bit more noticeable in person than in the pictures). I've been browsing the internet searching if I should be concerned about this or if it's just how mahogany is, but found nothing reassuring.

To make it worse, this morning I was taking pictures of the interior of the guitar to post here and found that the back bracing is not entirely glued?

Maybe I'm overthinking this or it's my lack of knowledge, but it's my first brand-name/good-quality guitar and it costed me 2.500€ which, in my personal situation, is a big sum. It's been a bit over a month since I got it, so if this are things that are not OK or that would develop bigger issues in the not so distant future, I would contact the seller and ask for a replacement.

What do you guys say?
Thanks!

Your guitar is probably fine, but remember tat Gibson is a high volume builder.

It's hard to tell if those are actually cracks in the image but you definitely have problems with that bracing. It was the first thing I noticed even before seeing your pic with the paper sliding under it. Those 'cracks' could just be grain lines. Can you see anything on the finished side?

You are 100% correct. $2500 is a large sum of money to pay for a guitar and you should absolutely not have these problems. The loose bracing is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

I've contacted the seller and I don't have an answer at the moment.

Thanks for your feedback Mr. Moustache and Redir

Only one brace was loose? I think that is in spec. for Gibson.
Sorry for the smart- comment. A local repairman should be able to do that fairly quickly and inexpensively, it would be a pain to go through the warranty system.

One month old guitar and you have to fix it yourself?

My G-00 had some braces that weren't glued all the way down. Not too hard to fix but still , on a new guitar c'mon!

I've returned it and got my money back with the intention of buying another L-00, but could not find one. The store had none and online searches were unsuccessful.

I thought that maybe an LG2 would be the next best thing(instead of waiting) but again: nothing. Only Nathaniel Rateliff and banner editions, which cost more than 2500.

Kept on looking and I found a used Iris OG, which has that LG2-esque vibe. Did some research and decided to pull the trigger and boy this thing is amazing! I know it's a departure from the L-00 but I gotta say I'm really happy with how things worked out
