Default Guitar One

Finally.

I retired, we sold our house, moved to an apartment (downsizing after 33 years in the same place) and after the dust settled down, I put together a workshop in a spare bedroom. Tight.

But I've actually started on my first guitar after thinking about it for 45 years. It's a dreadnaught. Back / sides are Lovoa (aka African Walnut - beautiful flash) with a top of Sitka or European Spruce. I'm leaning towards Sitka because that top is already done. Mahogany neck, red spruce bracing, rosewood fretboard and bridge, Schaller tuners.

Not a kit. So I had to build a few things, like an outside form and so forth (next one will be better) and will post a few pics in this thread once I get them on instagram. So far, so good.

Stacks of mahogany, spruce, maritime rosewood, western red cedar
Expensive sawdust

Well, that's awkward. I need to learn how to show instagram photos.
