Default "Glory, Glory, Hallelujah"

Did two songs over the weekend. The first is "Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!" a traditional African-American spiritual. Here it is:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j9OJcoIvXQ. Comments welcome as usual.

Hi Philly,

Great job. You manage to pack in lots of emotion and soul in this song. I like the picking pattern and I like your variation on the intensity throughout the song. Your mic placement seems to be working well to capture a nice guitar/vocal mix.

Thanks a lot for the kind words--they're much appreciated. Steve, I keep working on trying to get that mike placement right. This time I went out and spent close to two hundred bucks to get a good, strong, heavy, counterbalanced boom stand to hold the mike--a Sanken CS-1E very small shotgun mic. Still wasn't quite able to get the cable out of the frame, will try to do better on the next one. Take care and have a good day.
