Default Amplifier ID, please...

Several year ago (maybe 2015?) I was in a music store in Wilmington, North Carolina. I don't recall the name of the store.

While I was there, I played through the amp pictured here. It was the best sounding amplifier I've ever heard:

I'm getting back into playing some electric, and I want to purchase this amp (or one exactly like it). I thought the brand was "7 Amps", but I can't find anything online. There's an excellent chance that it was produced locally.

Any help in identifying this amplifier, and perhaps a source, would be greatly appreciated.

I spent the past 5 minutes doing a Google Image search and then regular search and found nothing. In addition to the badge, the amp's grill also shows a 7 so I searched for both 7 and 77.

Looks like chicken head knobs. Probably a great boutique amp.

Was it based on a classic Fender amp tone?

I guess, but it was sort of a what would've resulted if a Fender Super Reverb and a Marshall Blulesbreaker had a love child. It's difficult to explain.

The tone of that thing was otherworldly...

I googled guitar stores in Wilmington, North Carolina and looked at some Google pics for 3 stores. Any chance you would remember the inside of the store if you looked at some pics? Then you could email the store.

I'm intrigued!

Looks like it's a 7 Sins amp, originally by a guy who was making Quidley amps.

Apparently the guys' name is Ed Quidley and is from Wilmington, North Carolina. Unclear if he is still making them or not ???

Dan, Nama - you guys Rock! I spent about 10 minutes trying to find out what amp this was and couldn't find anything. Were you familiar with the amp?

I was not familiar with Quidley amps. I Googled 'boutique amplifiers 7' and a video showed up for the 7 Sins amplifier.

I just found out about them from you and am really interested now in seeing what else happens with Quidley in the future.

Here's one of his amps before the name change.
