Right. And I had said that it was a late 30s 00-18. So, I was off by an "0."

I have a friend who has a newer Martin 0-18 and I really love that thing. If I were still buying guitars I do think it'd be 1st on my list. There was just something so unique and sonically lovely I honestly had a hard time putting it down.

He keeps fresh strings on his but I hear a lot of similarities between his guitar and the OP's posted video despite the age difference and thuddy strings. I would think an 0-18 would get you awfully close.

Hi, I'd say that this is an "0-18" - can't speak of the age but the lack of logo might indicate early 20th C, but this model peaked about 1927 ish.
Certainly not designed to be played like he is doing.

Thanks so much for the observations on the newer 0-18. Those might be in my price-range and that or the 00 is what I've been looking at the most.
