The 25.5” scale does not seem to be an upcharge on their website:

The only nut width I’ve seen listed is 1-3/8”.

Thanks, Patrick, the 1-3/8 inch nut-width is okay with me as my Rickard Maple Ridge has that and it's comfortable.

I'd recommend the Gold Tone Bob Carlin open-backs, both of which I carry.
1-3/8" nut.

BC-350

CC-Carlin12

I play a BC-350+ which is a discontinued version of the BC-350. Here I'm using a skin head.

I've heard good things about the Gold Tone Bob Carlin models!

Here's an interview I did with Bob Carlin on his signature Gold Tone banjos.

Well, it's now a month since my last communication with Ozark. I had a couple of questions about my banjo but have yet to hear back regarding them. I was supposedly at the top of the queue and was getting excited about finally making some progress and anticipating receiving my banjo in the near future. I guess after waiting for 3-1/2 years on my custom build, I can wait a little longer if that's what it takes ...

Current Banjos:
Vega No. 2 Tubaphone
OME North Star Walnut
Eastman EBJ-WL1 Whyte Laydie
Vega 12" Old Tyme Wonder
Rickard 12" Maple Ridge Dobson
Pisgah 12" Walnut Tubaphone
Bart Reiter Regent Whyte Laydie
Deering Sierra Flathead Resonator

On Order:
Ozark Custom 12-inch Figured Cherry

He sold a builder’s choice model off the website today. There was a video of his new shop employee playing it on Facebook.

The last I heard a week or two ago was that we were waiting on hardware while applying the finish with the hopes of getting it in the mail soon.

Thanks, Patrick. I still haven't heard anything and I'm wondering if they're having a problem getting the Rickard 10:1 Cyclone Tuners I requested?

I don’t know, Ken. I didn’t request the Cyclone tuners, yet I haven’t heard anything either.

You can get those on Reverb or directly from Rickard. Either way, it’s no excuse not to communicate.
