Do you still hold that view today: gloss finish? More guitars are coming out with satin finish and I have to admit they look modern, but it's a pain to maintain. Satin gets dings and finger nail marks so easily. The slightest rub and it turns shiny. I too grew up in the day where guitars were glossy.
