Default Taylor BTO

What neck carve do you order when building an acoustic Taylor BTO? Do any of you also have a pre NT neck taylor as well ?

I ordered the standard neck for my BTO GA, which is what you find on the production acoustic Taylor models. I think the slim carve neck is similar in size to the pre-NT neck. I've never played one so I can't comment on that neck.

If you have average-size hands, get it as thick as you can unless you use classical posture/technique. Taylor necks are notoriously thin.

if you can find a doyle dykes signature model, i'm pretty sure they came with the slim carve-it would give you opportunity to try fit in you hand.

talking about the full on high end issue, not the 200 series model
