I decided to design my own two layer board to give the height needed, I made it a grand piano design as I like to rock my foot onto the looper pedal buttons.

Nice Steve!

You gave me an idea....I bet I could find a little foot stool that looks similar to what you have to put pedals on and then I could use any barstool. Just have to figure out the correct height. It would be nice to not have to buy my own chair to lug around and just use the barstool at whatever place I'm playing at.

I use this.

https://www.guitarcenter.com/ROC-N-S...-Seat-Stool.gc

Comes in two heights. Extremely comfortable and easy to reach pedalboard.

Which height did you get and how tall are you?

thanks

looks very comfortable. Only drawback might be transporting it since it
doesn't fold up.

HI JB1

The only pedal I ever put on my acoustic is a looper, and I can play it sitting or standing.

Electric guitar - when I sit I just keep my amp next to me and set a couple pedals on top of the amp and reach over an punch them by hand.

I use a keyboard bench like this one. No footrest or backrest, but about half the price of a throne.

To be fair, I usually cart a 63cm Franklin folding chair from Ikea around with me, it's just ideal and doesn't take too much space in the car.
