Can't tell if the damaged area is flush or recessed into the finish and guitar surface. If it's flush then just some touch up paint/magic marker should make it at least look better. If it's recessed then there's a couple ways to fill the area, sand flush then repaint. You could mix some epoxy and straight fill with that, or a good wood filler, or titebond mixed with sawdust, or a medium to think CA glue or...?

Not necessary to do anything but it could be a fun small project.

This furniture filler set looks like a good fit for this project. Looks to me like you could mix some red into black until you get a good match.
