The last week was all about binding the two guitars. And while the baritone has some extra features that take a bit more time, I kept the bindings quite simple on the BRW 00.

I am really happy how this one turned out, so here are some pictures of the result!

Here are finally some pictures of the bound baritone body.

The binding and bevel are Honduran Rosewood, the top purfling is horn with gold leaf.

Both are spectacular, even at this stage. Good luck with the show. That Brazilian, like Tom said, is a vision. I hope we get to hear it.

Hi Bill, the gold leaf is attached underneath the horn pieces to bring out their translucency. As soon as some lacquer is applied it will add some nice depths to the inlays. It is an old technique used a lot on furniture with tortoise shell inlay work.
