If using a capo makes you happy good for you.

Not using one makes me happy so why all the negativity towards us "capo deniers"

Probably because we can assume the definition of "capo deniers" is not people who do not use capos. (And also not people who do not believe that capos exist )
It's people "who make negative comments about people who do, or the use in general " .... BIG DIFFERENCE

I love using my capos. They bring me great joy! But I get a sense those that don`t are simply much better players, than me. Generally speaking. I need to use the capo, to make up for my limitations.

Either way, to each his/her own!

I started using a capo to simulate a shorter scale neck so I can play a part of a song that I can't reach well with my midget digits.

What, there are capo deniers? I though that most everyone knew they existed, though not everyone uses them. You learn something new everyday.
