Default TV audio through my Fender amp

Is this possible using the headphone-out with an adapter? We bought a new cheap $100 TV amd the speaker is really bad.

What model amp? If TV has 1/8" out and amp has 1/8" aux input, they have aux cables that do the trick.

If your amp doesn't have an aux in, then it's tricky. You'll need the right cable, or an adapter.

An amp won't likely have the dynamics you would want. I would opt for a good quality speaker bar. That's the problem with a cheap tv (or anything) you end up spending more money trying to make it work or sound or look better after the purchase.

Good advise. Sound bars have a dynamic range compatible with TV sound, an amp does not.

You can make it work, but as others have said, it might not provide reasonable sound. If it's a dedicated acoustic amp it will likely be better if it has a separate tweeter and crossover.

If it were me, I'd look on a local Craigslist and find a used receiver and a a pair of bookshelf speakers. People are nearly giving that kind of stuff away these days.
