Some heavy duty strips at Home Depot or Ace that come in different widths that have some good sticky stuff on the back

Default take the rubber off?

i have found that velcro does not stick to this rubber well. i think that some folks actually take the rubber off their pedals but i'm hopiing someone will weigh in here about that.
