Default Taylor Balanced Breakout Box

Since there is a LED light i presume it uses power. But the Taylor website says nothing about power. Any of you out there use this ... does it use a battery and if so what kind of battery?

If it does take a battery does it also have a connection for external power. I have a Visual Sound 1 Spot and was wondering if i could use it (9v DC, with barrel-tyle output plug, center is negative) to power the box.

Thanks.

Ken
