Do you like it or not? And why?

Savarez 500 AJ HT - in low, even, warm, rich, fretted notes good; increased volume in high, with clear fretted notes.

Yamaha No 120 Nipon Gakki, spruce/maple, 1964-1966 (bone saddle)
Savarez 500 AJ HT - slightly dry, clean fretting, overtones galore in low, out of this world in high.

The Burguet 1A I recently got came with 500ARJ (normal basses, high trebles) and they are a very bright and balanced set of strings that went very well with the new spruce top. Very good volume too. The intonation was also great until about a week/10 days when it started sounding really off around the 9th and 10th frets and I found myself spending a lot of time adjusting the tuning.

I was in a hurry to try the D'addario EJ45LP's I had so I changed the strings since the tuning/intonation was driving me nuts.

I intend to try them again because they sounded great but I want to experiment with some others first.
