Vincent Black Lightning 1952/Richard Thompson
Who out there plays this song and in what tuning? I've tried standard, Dropped D and open G as well as DADDAD. Nothing sounds right yet. Any help?

Mixolydian--D-A-dd--on mt. dulcimer, fingerpicked. The key for me was hammerons and pulloffs to the max. Actually prefer it a step higher, but anything above an E can break the strings on a std. dulcimer.
