Henry Garza from Los Lonely Boys is a phenomenal electric player. Texicana cross between SRV, Hendrix and Santana.

I did not see Adrian Legg on the list. He is my favorite. Not only is he a guitar virtuoso and wizard, he is a very kind man.

Being of a less is more philosophy, Vince Gill, Dave Gilmore, Mark Knophler, BB King, Billy Gibbons.

I immediately thought of Vince Gill when Brad Paisley was mentioned. Just like Brad, Vince is one of those talented guys that have such a great personality that they can host award shows or anything else.

I'm pretty sure Henry is a guy, so not a Texicana .

T'm guessing "Texicana" = "Americana", but just the Texas part.

https://www.bravotv.com/texicanas The analog to Americana you're looking for would probably be Tejano music. FWIW, Henry called what they did "Texican Rock and Roll." |

Haven't seen anyone mention Jimmy Vaughn. That would be Stevie's older brother. He is super amazing and the story I heard from his brother in law, who is a friend of mine, is that Jimmy was so good growing up that Stevie had to work twice as hard to "beat him". You know the sibling rivalry thing. Anyway - Jimmy was Stevie's inspiration and if you haven't heard him play it's certainly worth the time to check him out.

It's a shame the way Penny Ayarzagoitia threw them under the bus.
