I found a collings OM cutaway that is just remarkable in every way!

Santa Cruz guitars are built in an environmentally controlled environment. I think it's kept at 50% humidity though I'm not sure. The idea is to build them where it's in the middle of the humidity spectrum. Because the guitars may end up in a humid place on earth or a dry place on earth.

Richard Hoover told me that most any guitar build issues will show up in the first year.

As far as playing them hard. Well I do it all the time and I play a 00 12 fret. Yup, I snap those strings and play them rags to get the feets a tappen or thump that low E playing those blues.

Santa Cruz guitars are high quality instruments. I’ve owned 4 over the years and never had an issue with build quality. Wait, I’ve had one tuner go bad which they replaced. That’s it.

Some dealers (and private buyers) will try to offer as little as possible for your trade in. A sponsor here has admitted so on a post. It’s their opportunity to make money and it’s also their prerogative. However, it’s sad to hear a dealer bad mouthing a quality company like SCGC in order to make an extra buck (if that’s what is happening).

It is necessary to have a humidifier/dehumidifier and a good meter.
Very similar to my own thoughts on the matter. SCGC produces excellent instruments and is my favorite company of the this size.
